Uberlândia ganha destaque nacional e internacional ao integrar a próxima edição do Projeto City’s Book.

On December 3, 2025, the City’s Book team visited the Uberlândia City Hall to finalize details regarding the edition dedicated to the municipality. The team was received at the Secretariat of Economic Development and Innovation, and those present at the meeting included: the Secretary of Economic Development and Innovation, Fabiano Alves; the Secretary of Communication, Paulo Eduardo Vieira; the Director of the City’s Book Project, Victor Falcão; and the Public Relations representative for the City’s Book Project, Kennya Barbosa.
As this is the city's first participation in the Project, the initiative focused on city marketing will highlight and promote its strengths and good administrative practices, functioning as a true institutional portfolio.
With a population totaling over 713,224 people (IBGE 2022), Uberlândia is one of the most important cities in the Triângulo Mineiro region and stands out for its significant economic development, representing a relevant power not only for the state of Minas Gerais, but for the entire country.
Boasting a GDP per capita of R$ 61,038.02 (IBGE 2021), the city is the second richest in the state, a result of a diversified economy and its strategic location, factors that attract increasing investment and drive its continuous growth.
It is also worth highlighting that Uberlândia is the fastest-growing municipality in the Brazilian interior. According to IBGE data, between 2002 and 2021, Uberlândia registered a 764.12% growth in its industrial GDP, the highest among large municipalities in the interior and metropolitan regions of the country.
The City’s Book Uberlândia – MG 2026 edition will be a trilingual publication (Portuguese, English, and Mandarin), focusing on City Marketing, and will present data demonstrating the city's strength, reinforcing its national and international projection. Thus, Uberlândia positions itself as a territory prepared to receive external investments and establish strategic partnerships capable of further expanding its economic development.
The publication's launch is scheduled for the first half of 2026, at an event that will bring together public administration and local businesses. More details will be announced soon.
