City's Book attends Raising Flag in Toronto



We participated in the September 7 Commemorative Ceremony at Toronto City Hall. On the occasion Ambassador Ana Lélia Benincá Beltrame presented the data that more than 60,000 Brazilians live in the province of Ontario in Canada, "The community has been strengthened and growing with Canada," said the ambassador.


Relations between Brazil and Canada have been strengthened and there are many opportunities for investors. In the Ambassador's speech, the welcoming work that the Consulate has reinforced


Brazilian from Toronto has been doing, providing a familiar environment for Brazilians to feel at home.


Deputy Consul Mr. Ademar Seabra of Cruz Júnior stressed the importance of the City's Book project as an excellent tool for spreading the extraordinary Brazilian cities with many opportunities for cultural and business exchange.


Present were important Brazilian and Canadian authorities, Deputy Mayor Mrs. Ana Bailão, reinforced in her speech the ties between the Brazilian and Portuguese community. At the time, she delivered a letter of Congratulations to the Brazilian Ontario Citizenship Council, signed by her and Ontario Mayor Mr. John Tory.


During the event the Brazilian community had the opportunity to interact and connect with the Canadian diplomatic mission team and authorities.
