Osasco, the 2nd largest economy in the state of São Paulo, invests in city marketing.

On December 19th, another City's Book launch took place, this time in the city of Osasco, located in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo.

The City’s Book Osasco 2024-2025 edition is a city marketing tool that summarizes aspects of the municipality, such as economic development indexes, public administration practices, and data that attest to the city’s strength. Published in Portuguese and English to broaden its reach, the publication serves as a showcase for the municipality, helping to attract future investments.


Osasco holds the title of 2nd largest economy in the state of São Paulo and 7th largest Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the country, ahead of many capitals. And it was considered the 4th best market for entrepreneurship, according to the 2023 Entrepreneurial Cities index.


The launch event, which took place at the Luiz Roberto Claudino da Silva Room (formerly the Osasco Room) at the Osasco City Hall, brought together local businesspeople and municipal authorities such as council members, secretaries and the mayor. Speaking during the ceremony were Mr. Thiago Silva, Secretary of Communications, Mr. Eder Alberto Ramos Máximo, Secretary of Planning and Management. Representing the partners in the initiative were Mr. Valdir Ventura, President of the São Cristóvão Saúde Group, Mr. Gualter Braz, Controller of LAO Indústria, Ms. Luciana Monteiro, general director of the Hospital da Rede D’or - São Luiz Osasco and the Mayor of Osasco, Rogério Lins.
